· The ILT site is being phased out. Instead, go to the WebCT site at http://ic.ucsc.edu/webct. You can use your current CruzID and password to log into WebCT. [Don’t have a CruzID? Go to http://its.ucsc.edu/services/accounts/forms.php and download the “Sundry Account Form.” Fill it out and bring it to me. I will sign it, and you can mail it to get an login ID for the WebCT site.] Be sure not to miss announcements and quizzes on the WebCT site. The discussion board should be good for your group discussions and help. I will read discussions and intervene when I feel necessary. Lastly, I cannot emphasize more – reading and quiz are BEFORE class. Note that lecture notes are linked from the WebCT site (Course Materials), but they are also available here. · The MP Homework website (course ID = SAMPHY6A). Friend can loan you the code for this quarter? Read how-to in the NEWS section of the ILT site. But, do it fast, the first homework is due Oct. 8, 11:59 PM.

· Check out postings at http://samphy6a.blogspot.com. This year, this site is becoming essentially an FAQ site, with helpful tips on generally important matters. Don’t expect too many posts. Most day to day posts will probably be up at the ILT web site. You might want to setup an RSS feed using the following URL, “http://samphy6a.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss” (check how to do it with thunderbird, here).
