I just received an email from the University health center. I copy the email message and link the pdf file (attachment of the original email) below. — [[Sam]], ~-''<>''-~ {{{ Today, a student presented to the Student Health Center with chicken pox. He reported last attending Physics 105 and 116 C on Thursday 11/17/11 and developed a fever that night meaning that he was likely contagious during the day. Chicken pox is highly contagious so just sitting within 3 feet of the index case could result in infection. Most of the students, faculty and staff are immune to chicken pox from prior vaccine or having had the illness as children. There may be a few non immune students, faculty or staff who have underlying medical problems in whom this exposure could potentially be serious. Please distribute the attached information notices to students enrolled in the class and any instructors, TAs, staff who may have had contact with these two physics class on Thursday 11/17. }}} <>.
